Spiderbait
If you’ve not worked it out, there are 10 bands that get their own episode, one a calendar year. And then 10 episodes that round out the year. That round out usually has a headline band that could have easily deserved their own episode. Spiderbait most definitely could have been one.

Snout
I loved Snout, and I must say, I thought they were bigger in my head. I think maybe just cos everyone I knew loved them, but maybe not everyone bought the records?

Even
I think I played it down a bit in the podcast, but Even are a top 5 band for Australian band for me. But like, You Am I, their story was just more epic and my love for them can be explained a little better. Even, it’s just irrational love. Theres no good reason. They are great, but other bands I don’t love as much are great. People go about guitar bands like Sloan and Teenage Fanclub all the time. Even are amongst those for me.
